We are currently having to change venues due to space reductions at Mario's Music. We greatly appreciate Mario Sponsoring us this past year. We have moved to Butler's Coffee in Palmdale - I will post meeting dates Monthly, which will either be the second or third Tuesday of each month (check here for monthly meeting dates).

July's Meeting is Open Mic. Month! Practice up and come play whatever Music you like for the Meeting...

Please bring only Acoustic Guitars to the Meeting to Maximize Performance Opportunities for Performing Members (Some Electric OK, if you use the amps provided at the Meeting).

We are also Currently Developing an online music library check-out system that should be up and operation for the next June, 1st, 2008 meeting. You will basically be able to check out a score (yes, pun intended for musicians) of different music books, bring the invoice to the meeting, and the book will be waiting for you to use until the following meeting where you will return it.

Additionally, we will also be providing "Original" music and siminar guest notes generated by members to download.

This Service will only be provided to AVGS Participating Members.
1. This means that you must sign up as an AVGS member on this site.
2. You must physically come to a meeting and be verified, by valid ID, that you are who you say you are.
3. Once verified, your online access will be activated.
4. Have full Member Use of the AVGS Web Services.

Last but not least, if you would like to volunteer for various positions, please note this during your sign up. Positions like, PR, Inside Event Coordination, Outside Event Coordination, Music Librarian, etc... We can use your assistance!
